A few words about Incogni

Incogni is a subscription-based service that helps users delete their personal information collected by data brokers. The platform automatically removes user data from hundreds of databases and conducts regular reviews to ensure it is not added back. Incogni builds a list of data brokers who may have information about each customer and sends removal requests to these companies.

So the question arises – where and how to promote such a service?

Incogni – ideas for campaign promotion

The Incogni affiliate program is not an obvious dating or contest campaign, for which many publishers have a prepared source of traffic and a trusted audience gathered within it. That is why we come with ideas that will allow you to fight for prizes and try your hand at competition.

Media buying

Media buying is, to put it simply, the process of buying advertising space and time on digital and offline platforms. How does this relate to affiliate marketing? You generate an affiliate link, create images or a banner related to the promoted product or service, and then look for places where you can place them.

For this purpose, you can contact the creators of the portal of your choice on your own and negotiate the terms of publication of your creations or use advertising networks. Here are some of them:

Zeropark

Zeropark allows you to create Domain, Pop and Push campaigns. After registering on the platform, you can choose to target by location (it is important to target GEOs where Incogni works), device, browser or operating system. The portal allows you to choose whether you are interested in Adult/Non-Adult traffic (in this case, of course, the latter)  and allows you to buy traffic related to selected keywords or from a specific source.

ClickAdilla

ClickAdilla allows you to create Pupunder, Interstitial, Banner, In-App, Push, Video and other campaigns. The platform allows you to choose traffic quality (All, Medium, High), mark Adult/Non Adult and also allows you to purchase traffic from third parties (Traffic DSP). Targeting options include country, device type, browser, operating system, language or IP2 location. It is also possible to choose a category – you should be interested in “Technology & Computing”.

TacoLoco

The Tacolo.co platform specializes in Push, In-Page Push and Popunder advertising.  It has slightly more limited capabilities than the portals mentioned above. It allows you to specify the Dating/Mainstream category, and targeting allows you to choose the type of device, operating system, country, and language.

Clickadu

In the Clickadu advertising network, you can create a banner campaign, Push, Onclick (Popunder), Video, Skim and Instant Text Message (Dialog Ad). The platform allows you to target ads by connection type, device type and manufacturer, browser and browser language.

Competitor-targeted CPC ads

This type of advertising in search results is quite popular, especially with large brands, among which there is a fierce competition for reaching customers. Their operation is based on targeting users on terms related to competition, i.e. the names of portals often combined with a keyword extension, e.g. “[brand] opinions”.

These types of ads are usually based on a message aimed at capturing the customer, e.g. “[brand]? There is something much better. Try Incogni!”

How to use this idea to promote the contest campaign? Search for platforms that associate data and use the emotion of fear in building a message by creating an advertisement, e.g. “Do you have a Google or Facebook account? These portals may have access to your data! Remove them in minutes!

Paid advertising in social media

Paid ads on Facebook or Instagram are another idea to promote the contest campaign. The key element in setting up such a campaign will be the appropriate selection of the target group.

We recommend paying special attention to the recipient’s country (it should coincide with the GEO of the campaign), age (the commission is awarded for sales, and the specificity of the campaign requires targeting according to interests, which on FB is possible only from a certain age)) and interests (e.g. data security, digital and ICT security (computers and electronics can be indicated).

How to use this idea to promote the contest campaign? Choose the right settings and play on the recipient’s emotions. Use messages similar to: “Protect yourself against data leakage” or “Put data security in the hands of specialists”, or present the real value of the promoted offer. For example: “Incogni can help you regain the security, privacy and confidentiality of your information, even if it has already been exposed online.”

Organic activities in social media

By organic activities, we mean posts on the wall, in groups or video content. You can choose from a number of platforms from Facebook and Instagram, to YouTube, TikTok or a whole lot of messengers, such as Messenger, Discord, WhatsApp or Telegram.

The topic of digital security allows you to easily attract the user’s attention through verbal messages, e.g. “Delete your data from the Internet”, “Do not let others have access to your data” or “Worried about what happens to your data?”.
